KSS Architects (Allan Kehrt, M. Arch. ‘79, a founding partner) wins NJ AIA “Firm of the Year” Award
The American Institute of Architects New Jersey chapter announced KSS Architects won its prestigious Architectural Firm of the Year Award at AIA NJ’s 2009 Awards Dinner on Sat., Jan. 9. The award is given to a firm that has “made major accomplishments in the field of architecture and has distinguished themselves both professionally and personally,” according to AIA New Jersey.
Allan Kehrt, FAIA, LEED AP (M. Arch ‘79), one of the firm’s founding partners, said he was amazed by what the firm has accomplished since its establishment in 1983.
“Since we began KSS, we have always tried to be the best firm we can be,” Kehrt said. “It is enormously exciting as well as humbling for KSS to be recognized by our peers in this manner.”
This is the third time KSS Architects has been honored with this award; the firm also won in 2002 and 2005.
