Architecture Faculty members receive honors at AIA Blue Ridge Chapter awards event

Three projects designed by members of faculty members in the architecture program won awards from the AIA Blue Ridge. Robert Dunay, T. A. Carter Professor of Architecture and chair of the Department of Industrial Design, and Joe Wheeler, assistant professor of architecture, won an Honor award for Excellence in Architecture for the ‘Extreme Home Makeover - Meditation Room’ in Blacksburg, Va., Joe Wheeler, assistant professor of architecture, and Michael Ermann, associate professor of architecture, received a Merit Award for Excellence in Architecture for the ‘C5 Residence’ in Galax, Va., and Rengin Holt, instructor in architecture, received an Honorable Mention for Excellence in Architecture for her ‘Deercroft House’ in Blacksburg, Va.
