Landscape Architecture

Minor in Landscape Architecture Checksheet

Students from any department may pursue a minor in Landscape Architecture. The minor requires completion of a minimum of 19 semester hours as follows:

Required Courses:

LAR 1004 Natural and Human Systems in Landscape Architecture (3)
LAR 1144 Introduction to Landscape Architecture (1)
LAR 4034 Evolution of the American Landscape (3)

Select a minimum of 12 credit hours from the following:

LAR 2004 History and Theory of Landscape Architecture I (3)
LAR 3004 Natural and Human Systems in Landscape Architecture II (3)
LAR 3044 Land Analysis (3)
LAR 4004 History and Theory of Landscape Architecture II (3)
LAR 4084 Advanced Land Planning and Design (4 - 6)
LAR 4304 Topics in Landscape Architecture (3, may take different sections for credit)

Note:
There may be prerequisites.
GPA required within minor is 2.0
