Presentation by jurors for the CAUS 50th Anniversary Icon Competition

Lisa Mahar (VT B.Arch. ‘88) is the founder and owner of Kid O, a design store for children, based in New York City. She worked for Aldo Rossi, producing the monograph of Rossi’s work, Aldo Rossi: Architecture 1981-1991. She is also the author of Grain Elevators, recipient of the AIA International Book Award, and American Signs: Form and Meaning on Rte. 66. Mahar has received Design Arts Awards from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts and is a winner of the ID Magazine Graphic Design Honor Award.
