Francisco Sanin, associate professor of architecture at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University, teaches architectural and urban design and theory at Syracuse Florence Center. In 2003 he won first place in a design competition in Seoul, South Korea and collaborated with Korean architect Joh Sung Yong to design a new temple complex to accompany the famous 8th-century Buddhist Haeinsa temple. In 2004-05 he was visiting faculty member at the Korean National University of Arts in Seoul. Sanin has also taught at the Architectural Association, Kingston University and Greenwich University in London, and at Princeton University.
