Valerio Olgiati is a trained architect and a member of the Swiss Institute for Architects & Engineers and of the Federation of Swiss Architects. He is the principal of Valerio Olgati Architekten in Zürich. Olgati has held teaching appointments in various European countries. He is currently a professor of architecture at the Accademia della Architettura in Mendrisio (Switzerland). His buildings have been widely published in international journals on architecture and daily newspapers. His buildings have received various awards.
