In February 2009 Kim Blair became the Director of Development for the College of Architecture & Urban Studies and assists the School of Architecture + Design with funding for its current initiatives, programs and proposals to enhance our educational mission.

Outright Gifts to the School of Architecture + Design
Your outright gift of cash, securities, or other qualifying assets can go to work at Virginia Tech and the School of Architecture + Design as soon as it is received. And you can immediately enjoy full income tax benefits. Every gift is unique, so you will want to consider your individual goals and tax implications when you select the asset for your gift.
Cash (Check or Credit Card)
The simplest and most frequent gift to Virginia Tech is cash. You can make a check payable to the Virginia Tech Foundation Inc. Make your check out to the Virginia Tech Foundation. To ensure that we are using your gift to your specifications please place the designation for your gift in the memo of the check or enclose a note with your gift stating the purpose for your support for the School of Architecture + Design.

Pledge
You can contribute on a personalized schedule by making a pledge, payable over as many as five years. Virginia Tech will use your payment when it is received and you will realize the tax benefits of each payment in the year it is made. The university sends you a receipt for each payment as well as periodic reminders of pledge balances and future payments.
